Yoann Mallet, aka Bullit, is a lettering artist, graphic designer, artistic director and traveller who has a passion for nature and car mechanics. It is during his studies at ECV Bordeaux that he discovers an interest for typography through a workshop run by Italian ‘Master Penman’ Barbara Calzolari who transmitted her passion for calligraphy, a subtle alliance between lettering and drawing. Often depicted alongside illustrations, Bullitt pours into each letter a tremendous amount of vigor and sincerity. Playing with textures, colours, dimension, light and shade, the forms enhance the words’ meaning.

Bullitt has collaborated with Galeries Lafayette, Stabilo, fashion designers and a variety of drinks brands on their packaging.
